ABOUT SEEDING HEALTH FARMS
Seeding Health Farms was created from a simple belief:Healthy food helps create healthy people, healthy communities, and a healthy future.Founded by two sisters with a passion for health, agriculture, and community, our farm is being built one season at a time with a focus on growing nutrient-dense food while caring for the land that produces it.We believe food is more than fuel. It is connection, culture, resilience, and an investment in future generations.Located in Central Alberta, we are working toward creating a thriving farm that provides food, education, and opportunities for people to reconnect with where their food comes from.
ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
.
Food tells a story. For some families, that story includes potatoes, carrots, and onions. For others, it includes sweet potatoes, okra, herbs, and foods connected to cultural traditions that have been shared across generations. At Seeding Health Farms, we believe food should nourish both body and culture. We are committed to growing food that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and creating a welcoming space where people from many backgrounds can find foods that feel familiar, meaningful, and connected to home.
OUR STORY
.
Many farms grow food.We are working to grow something more.Seeding Health Farms was founded on the belief that food is one of the most powerful ways we care for one another. Food nourishes our bodies, brings families together, preserves traditions, and helps communities thrive. As a health-focused farm, we recognize that healthy eating is not one-size-fits-all. Different cultures have different foods, recipes, traditions, and connections to the land.Yet many culturally important foods can be difficult to find locally in Central Alberta. That is why we are intentionally exploring and growing crops such as sweet potatoes, okra, culturally significant herbs, and other foods requested by the communities we serve. We believe everyone deserves access to foods that feel familiar, meaningful, and connected to home.
OUR COMMITMENT
.
Because healthy communities are built when people can access food that nourishes both body and culture. We are committed to:Growing nutrient-dense foodSupporting local food securityCelebrating cultural diversity through agricultureUsing regenerative growing practicesBuilding community connectionsCreating opportunities for learning and food literacyLeaving the land healthier for future generations

The result is fresh, locally produced eggs that travel only a short distance from our farm to your table.By choosing Seeding Health Farms eggs, you're supporting local food security, sustainable farming practices, and a healthier local food system.Because good food starts with good care.
CSA Veggie Boxes
Fresh From Our Fields to Your Family's TableA CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Veggie Box is more than a box of vegetables—it's a partnership between our farm and your family. Each week, you'll receive a seasonal selection of freshly harvested vegetables grown right here in Central Alberta. Your box may include favourites like carrots, potatoes, onions, lettuce, kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, herbs, sweet potato, okra and other farm-fresh produce depending on what is thriving in the fields.By joining our CSA, you are helping support a local family farm at the beginning of the growing season, allowing us to invest in seeds, soil, equipment, and the work required to grow healthy food for our community. In return, you receive the freshest produce possible, harvested just days—or sometimes hours—before it reaches your table.

Herbs & Flowers From the Garden
More Than Beautiful. More Than Useful. At Seeding Health Farms, herbs and flowers are woven into everything we do.They nourish pollinators, support biodiversity, enhance our vegetables, and connect us to traditions that have been passed down through generations. Some are grown for culinary use, some for wellness, and some simply because beauty belongs on every farm. From fragrant basil and dill to colourful pollinator flowers and medicinal herbs, every plant has a purpose.
Your Farmers
Greetings, we're Kayzie and Kizzie Sutton members of the African dispora by way of the West Indies and South AmericaA few years ago, we found ourselves asking a question:What would happen if a farm could nourish more than hunger? What if it could strengthen health, celebrate culture, build community, teach future generations, and reconnect people to where their food comes from?Seeding Health Farms is our answer to that question. We are building a farm rooted in the belief that food is one of the most powerful ways we care for one another. Every vegetable, every egg, every herb, and every flower represents our commitment to creating a healthier, more resilient future for our community. As sisters, we've poured our hearts into building this farm. We've faced challenges, learned countless lessons, and continued to move forward because we believe in the importance of local food, environmental stewardship, and creating space for people from all backgrounds to feel welcome and represented. Our farm is also shaped by our family's connection to the African diaspora via the West Indies and South America. We understand that food is more than nutrition—it carries history, culture, identity, and memories of home. It is often one of the strongest connections people have to their families, traditions, and communities. That is why we are intentionally working to grow culturally meaningful crops such as sweet potatoes, okra, herbs, and other foods that reflect the diverse communities that call Alberta home. We believe local agriculture should celebrate the rich cultures and traditions that make our communities stronger. For us, this farm is about more than agriculture. It's about belonging. It's about connection. It's about creating a space where food, culture, health, and community can grow together. And we're grateful you've chosen to be part of the journey.
